Three Leeds ladies with a combined age of around 180 with little previous sporting experience have completed an Ironman distance triathlon, raising over £2000 for the Alzheimer’s Society.
Jan Bamforth, Milly D’escrivan and Kay Fern cycled 112 miles, swam 2.4 miles and ran 26.2 miles between them.
A super slimmer has shed nine stone after being left "mortified" by holiday pictures that "ruined" her memories of a trip to New York. Emily Duggan from Bradford said the pictures spurred her to lose weight, dropping nine stone from 23st and dropping six dress sizes.
A 9-year-old 'Elastigirl' from Bradford can twist her body into all sorts of shapes after spending lockdown mastering the art of contortion. Lexi Craven began training last April, with her hobby now an “obsession”, according to her mum Julie.
