ROYAL RIFF: Leeds reacts ahead of Meghan, Harry & Oprah interview
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit their roles as senior working royals in March last year but they’ve been under the limelight following their interview with Oprah Winfrey, due to air in the UK on Monday.
We’re back in our regular ‘sounding board’ location to get some of your views on the ‘royal riff’.
"I try not to be interested but I am. I keep reading the paper and watching the news and waiting with interest to see the interview recorded."
"I don't understand why there is so much opinion on Meghan and Prince Harry when they are just living their life. I genuinely feel there is a stigma and an agenda being pushed on Meghan specifically."
"They talk about wanting a quieter life and then spend millions and 'get into bed' with her (Oprah Winfrey). It's that dichotomy between them wanting a quieter life and them being massive."
"I think his mother would be devastated, I don't agree with putting it on at the minute while The Duke of Edinburgh is so poorly."
"I really don't think they should of bought the programme. They've made their life over there, they've turned their back on the Royal Family. And I think they've let the Royal family down."
