VEHICULAR ASSAULT: Serious incident in Bradford has officers appealing for information

Police are appealing for information following a serious incident involving vehicular assault in Heaton, Bradford.
At 16.21pm on Friday 30 April, officers were called to reports of an incident on Leylands Lane, Heaton where a man had been knocked over by a vehicle and assaulted.
It is believed the vehicle travelled across the carriageway, through oncoming traffic and mounted the pavement before colliding with the pedestrian.
Two men proceeded to exit the vehicle and assault the male pedestrian before fleeing the scene.
The man was taken to hospital with facial injuries not believed to be life threatening.
The vehicle is described as a black Volkswagen Touran.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody at this time.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone who may have recorded footage on a mobile phone or dash cam of the vehicle to contact police.
