Art lovers, especially those who enjoy sculpture, are in for a treat when Sculpture Show North comes to the Leeds Corn Exchange on Friday, 22nd October until Sunday, 31st October.
Mostly Yorkshire-based, 16 sculptors are exhibiting over the 10 days. At times during the course of the event, many of the artists will be present to chat about their work.
This is the brainchild of Leeds sculptor, and the Show’s founder, David Iredale. “Very few exhibitions are exclusively for sculpture. We wanted to showcase the immense talent in our area and beyond”.
With many different styles and materials, there will be something to everyone’s taste. All the pieces are available for purchase. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome, whether they simply want to browse, or want to buy a unique sculpture for their home or commercial premises or as a gift for a loved one.
The exhibition will also highlight work by members of Vision Support Harrogate, a group of visually impaired artists. The organisers would like to thank Leeds Inspired for their generous funding towards the Show.
The Show will follow the opening hours of the Corn Exchange, which are:
Mon – Wed: 10am – 6pm
Thurs: 10am – 9pm
Fri & Sat: 10am – 6pm
Sun: 10.30am – 4.30pm
