BIELSA BLUNDER: Did Leeds’ manager get it wrong against Arsenal?
Kalvin Phillips has become an integral part of Leeds United's first team.
So much so, that when he is unavailable, Marcelo Bielsa must decide on how to replace him.
Pascal Struijk was the man chosen to fill Phillips' boots against Arsenal.
However, his move to defensive midfield caused a shift in the rest of the line-up.
Luke Ayling had to move to center-back and Jamie Shackleton came in to cover him at right-back.
Talking on the Bremner Square podcast, Kieran and Jonny think Bielsa might have got his team selection wrong.
The wrong answer
"What I will say is I think Struijk is the wrong answer for that defensive midfield spot," Kieran said.
"He's been playing so well at center-back recently. The back four is really not what you want to knock out of rhythm.
"Bielsa clearly feels that Struijk is best suited to take that position."
If Struijk isn't the answer, then who is?
"I've seen alternative solutions offered up by Leeds fans. Some people suggesting [Mateusz] Klich because of that performance (at Villa).
"Some people say get [Stuart] Dallas in there. But these are all theoretical solutions.
"They may work better [but] Bielsa obviously thinks Struijk's his best option."
